Pharmaceutical ERP Software: Corpex-ERP

Finance, HR, supply chain and production planning, with batch and lot traceability built in.

A pharmaceutical or other GMP manufacturer runs on more business processes than a generic ERP was designed around — genealogy from raw material lot to finished-goods lot, a quality hold that blocks shipment, an audit trail that has to survive an inspection. Corpex-ERP is built around those processes rather than bolted onto a general-purpose system afterward.

Understanding Corpex-ERP

A Holistic Business Management Solution

Corpex-ERP connects finance, human resources, supply chain, production planning and customer relationship management in one platform, so a change in one area — a lot placed on quality hold, a supplier delivery delay — is visible everywhere else it matters, instead of surfacing three systems and a phone call later.

For a regulated manufacturer, that matters most in production: Corpex-ERP's modules are built so that finance, procurement and shop-floor data share the same lot and batch identifiers used in quality records, which is what makes end-to-end traceability possible without a separate reconciliation exercise.

That single set of identifiers is also what lets Corpex-ERP scale from a single production line to a multi-site operation without a re-platforming project: adding a new plant or a new product line means extending the same master data, not standing up a parallel system and reconciling it against the first one later.

💬

Enhanced Collaboration

A common platform for finance, HR, supply chain and production means departments are working from the same lot, order and inventory records instead of reconciling separate spreadsheets after the fact.

🛡️

Risk Management

Built-in compliance features give visibility into quality holds, expiring lots and supplier issues before they become a deviation or a recall.

GMP Manufacturing

Batch and Lot Traceability: The Regulatory Requirement Behind It

GMP regulations require a manufacturer to be able to trace a batch in both directions: from a finished-goods lot back to every raw material lot that went into it, and forward from any single raw material lot to every finished-goods lot it touched. That requirement is what a product recall actually runs on — a company that cannot produce this genealogy quickly has to recall far more product than the defect actually reached.

It is also what an annual product review and a batch record reconciliation depend on: totals issued, totals used, totals accounted for, reconciled against what was actually produced and shipped.

In Corpex-ERP, that genealogy is built as the batch moves, not reconstructed afterward from paper records:

  • Raw material receipt: each incoming lot is logged with supplier, quantity and lot number at goods receipt.
  • Lot consumption: production planning records which raw material lots were issued to which production batch.
  • Finished-goods lot assignment: the output batch inherits a genealogy link back to every input lot consumed.
  • Distribution: inventory and supply chain records which finished-goods lots shipped to which customer or warehouse.
Audit Readiness

What an Inspector Checks in a Recall Simulation

Most inspectors ask a manufacturer to run a mock recall rather than take the traceability claim at face value:

  • Speed: how long it takes to produce a complete forward-and-backward genealogy trace for a chosen lot.
  • Reconciliation: do quantities issued, used and remaining actually add up against the batch record.
  • Quality status: is a lot under an open deviation correctly blocked from shipment in the system, not just on paper.
  • Change history: can every edit to a batch or lot record be attributed to a user and timestamp.
Integration

Where CORPEX-ERP Connects

Batch genealogy is only as reliable as the quality data behind it. CORPEX-ERP shares lot identifiers with CORPEX eQMS software, so a deviation or an open CAPA against a lot is visible from the ERP side without a separate lookup, and with CORPEX LIMS for the QC results a lot's release decision depends on.

Many manufacturers already run SAP for finance and materials management alongside a validated laboratory system. If that is your situation rather than a full ERP replacement, see how LIMS and SAP integration actually works — the same lot-and-batch data flow that CORPEX-ERP handles natively is what that integration has to be built to carry.

Egypt

Pharmaceutical ERP Software for Egyptian Manufacturers

CORPEX Informatics is an Egyptian company headquartered in the New Administrative Capital. Corpex-ERP is deployed with Arabic-language support and on-site implementation, alongside CORPEX eQMS software already running at Egyptian pharma and manufacturing companies, and validated the same way as any other GxP computerized system through computer system validation (CSV) — the batch genealogy and quality-hold behavior an EDA GMP inspection expects to see demonstrated, not just described. For the full local picture, in English and Arabic, see pharmaceutical ERP in Egypt. Corpex-ERP connects to the Egyptian Tax Authority's e-invoicing system, so invoices go out as e-invoices straight from the ERP.

Frequently Asked Questions About Pharmaceutical ERP

What is pharmaceutical ERP software?

Pharmaceutical ERP is software designed to manage all business processes — finance, HR, supply chain, manufacturing, and quality — while maintaining GMP compliance and regulatory traceability required by FDA and other authorities.

How does CORPEX-ERP differ from SAP or Oracle?

CORPEX-ERP is purpose-built for regulated industries with out-of-the-box GMP compliance, FDA 21 CFR Part 11 support, and native LIMS/QMS integration — eliminating complex customization costs typical of generic ERP systems like SAP or Oracle.

How does batch and lot traceability work in CORPEX-ERP?

Every raw material, intermediate and finished-goods lot carries a genealogy record in CORPEX-ERP: which raw material lots went into which batch, which batches went into which finished-goods lot, and where each finished lot shipped. That genealogy is what makes a forward-and-backward recall trace possible in minutes rather than days of manual document review.

Can ERP integrate with quality management and LIMS?

Yes. CORPEX-ERP natively integrates with CORPEX-eQMS and LIMS, providing end-to-end visibility from raw material procurement through manufacturing, quality control, and distribution.

Does CORPEX-ERP support GMP quality holds on inventory?

CORPEX-ERP's production planning and inventory control modules work alongside CORPEX-eQMS so that a lot under an open deviation or awaiting QC disposition is held from release or shipment until quality closes it out — inventory status and quality status stay in step.
